The Complete Range of Sedation Dentistry Options 

While we take great pride in being able to deliver comfortable injections, some patients are naturally anxious at even the thought of a needle. If this sounds like you, we have a variety of options that may help. We offer three levels of sedation: nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation, oral sedation, and IV sedation. Nitrous oxide sedation involves inhaling a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide, which helps you relax and take your mind off of the work you are having completed. If you choose oral sedation, you take a pill that we dispense to you approximately one hour before your appointment. You reach a level of sedation that allows you to respond to questions but feel relaxed throughout your visit. In addition, our office is one of the few general practices in the area that has an anesthesiologist (MD) who administers our IV sedation while we complete your dental work. This way, the MD is able to monitor your responsiveness and vital signs while we concentrate on your important dental rehabilitation.
